It was one of the greatest games in the history of NCAA Basketball. I like to think of it as a metaphor for what the Tiger’s want to do to your favorite team:</p> <ol><li>Build up hope</li> <li>Take it all away</li> <li>Slap you in the face</li> </ol><p>Look, I know as much as anyone that tumblr isn’t much of a venue for sports content unless you can some how relate it to a <a href="http://thedw.us/post/340883430/early-bird-special-in-the-locker-room-following">meme</a>, but did you know that the University of Memphis has chance tonight to break a record that has stood for over 60 years.</p> <p>They haven’t lost a conference game since <a href="http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/boxscore?gameId=260610005">March 2, 2006</a>. That was <a href="http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=March+2%2C+2006+to+today">1,420 days ago</a>. Now, they are 64-0 in conference play and currently tied with the 1945-50 Kentucky Wildcats for longest conference win streak.
